Ministry Partners & Outreach

Our Heart for Outreach

One of the most deeply-held callings of Oasis is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of our community. We carry out this belief by partnering with other mission-minded organizations who are already on the front-lines of service.

Occasionally, we'll invite the whole church to participate in an event or call to action on behalf of our ministry partners. If you'd like to become even more involved, please reach out by calling or texting the church number: (386) 222-2921.

Resources For Women

Resources For Women is a pregnancy care center located in Daytona Beach. Their mission is to provide a compassionate response to women (and their support systems) experiencing unplanned pregnancies.

They offer free pregnancy tests, maternity clothing, baby clothing and accessories, referrals for low-cost medical help and shelter. RFW also equips women with pregnancy options information, where their compassionate team walks through the potential process of each option, so that clients are able to make confident, informed decisions.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a project by the evangelical Christian organization Samaritan's Purse that collects and delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world, aiming to provide a tangible expression of God's love.

Churches like Oasis join in the mission every year (November) by acting as local hubs where congregants and community members can pack and drop off the shoeboxes full of gifts and encouraging notes. These shoeboxes get shipped to children and families all across the globe - many of whom have never received a gift in their lives.

More than gifts, these shoeboxes are an entry point to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children and their families; the gifts are delivered along with a 12-lesson discipleship course called "The Greatest Journey". This project empowers churches like ours to evangelize internationally while building relationships within our own community!

Salty Family Services

Salty Family Services works with families who are struggling in life and are at risk of having a Department of Children and Families investigation. They work directly with these families; providing them support, mentoring, and connections that allow them to reach goals and build a sustainable future.

How does Oasis get involved? Primarily through SFS's Call Me When program!

Call Me When volunteers are people that have committed to sharing a specific skill or resource with families in need. Examples: Ability to assist a family with moving; Ability to cook and deliver a meal; Ability to assist with childcare; Ability to volunteer lawncare services; Ability to provide handyman services; etc.

Oasis staff and Salty Family mentors invite “Call Me When” volunteers to serve when they identify specific needs while working with people in our community. If that interests you, clink this link, leave your information, and we'll follow up this week!
